Roughly a dozen in number, the members of the Page Turners at Lexington Correctional Center, originally mentored by ODOC volunteer K-Trina Meador, are men who compose as individuals and through creative collaboration. The freedom they lack as incarcerated writers is no obstacle to the transcendent power of their imaginative vision. They stand tall; they see far; their subject matter spans the globe. Their writing covers a range of literary terrain: comedy, fantasy, horror, Western, literary fiction, fable, poetry, and song. A tall order? Perhaps. But these writers more than fulfill it.<\/p>\n

OPWAF Editions published the Page Turners first anthology of work, Tall Tales: from The Page Turners<\/em><\/a>, which can purchased on Amazon, in September, 2025.<\/p>\n
